Yo, Marte

Original composition.

It tells the story of the process of death and transformation, and the acceptance of the pain that we all suffer during certain moments of our lives, it is the realization that our failures also make us who we are, all our good and all our bad. It narrates the journey where you realize that you have been your own Mars all this time. ''Yo, Marte'' (Me, Mars) speaks of acceptance, of struggle, and that the love of your life will always be and must be yourself.

Ukrainian National Anthem

Berklee Solidarity

Arrangement

At Berklee, we believe that an education in the arts deepens cultural awareness and empathy, enhances self-confidence and personal growth, develops the openness and curiosity essential to creativity, and promotes the power of music to better our world. Today, we share that power with the people of Ukraine. This project brought together more than 50 students from over 20 countries and was led by students Kert Markus Valdek, Ángela Varo, and features vocalist Vira Arnot-Fediunina as the leading voice in her national anthem.

Aluné

Original composition.

Aluné, in Roma Language or Far Away in English; is a composition inspired by a conversation I had on my patio with my grandmother Luisa a long time ago. She, emigrant, mother of emigrants and like in every Andalusian family, proud of the heritage of the ROM journey, from North India to Andalusia, is present in our days, nights, traditions, and cuisine. My grandmother emphasized that to be myself, it was not enough to be the Air, I had to become the Wind, and I had to Emigrate. Performed by the Global Jazz Institute, Green Ensemble.
